Top-to-bottom beginner terrainTop to bottom beginner runs

At Homewood, beginners are not restricted to a small amount of terrain at the bottom of the mountain. Some of the best beginner terrain (and amazing Lake Tahoe views) can be found on the very top of the resort with the 2-mile Rainbow Ridge beginner run. Link that up with our Homeward Bound beginner run and you can ski or ride on green slopes from top to bottom - an achievement that newer skiers and snowboarders will not soon forget.

Take a look at Homewood's trail map to plan your top-to-bottom adventure.

And true beginners should get the family started off right with a Family Private Lesson from one of Homewood's decorated Ski & Snowboard School instructors. Family Private lessons allow the entire family to learn and progress together, with individual instruction tailored perfectly to the abilities of all in the group. Call our Snowsports Office at 530-584-6844 for more details.

Homewood has Tahoe's most convenient parkingLake Tahoe's most convenient parking

While other Tahoe resorts make you walk through an entire village or even take a bus from your parking spot to the lifts, Homewood's parking lots are just steps from the slopes. Any parent who's had to carry all of their children's ski/snowboard gear - along with their own - back to the car at the end of the day will appreciate just how convenient slope-side parking is.
