Building Maintenance & Services

  • Custodian: Performs custodial duties including emptying trash containers, snow removal, stocking supplies, and maintaining general cleanliness and upkeep of lodges, restrooms, and other facilities.
  • Custodian – Swing (PM) Shift: Performs custodial duties including emptying trash containers, snow removal, stocking supplies, and maintaining general cleanliness and upkeep of lodges, restrooms, and other facilities. Must be able to work 4:00PM – 12:00AM.
  • Custodian – Women’s Facilities: Performs custodial duties including emptying trash containers, snow removal, stocking supplies, and maintaining general cleanliness and upkeep of lodges, restrooms, and other facilities. Must be female in order to perform duties in the women’s restroom.

Food & Beverage

  • Front of House Lead: Responsible for the daily operations of the front of house team. Various duties include cash register/POS training, assisting with staff scheduling, leading opening/closing duties, handling cash/banks, and providing support to all other front of house staff.
  • Cashier: Operates cash register/POS and receives payments by cash, credit card, vouchers, or stored value. Bussing, running food, and other front of house duties may be assigned depending on business levels.
  • Busser: Responsible for guest service in the lodge/dining areas by performing a variety of tasks including greeting guests, running food, bussing tables, and stocking supplies.
  • Barista: Responsible for all services and operations in the coffee shop. Operates cash register/POS and receives payments by cash, credit card, vouchers, or stored value. Previous barista and cashier experience a plus.
  • Kitchen Supervisor: Responsible for leading the back of house team for two lodge cafeterias. Must be able to run a fast paced grill line. Responsible for scheduling kitchen staff and recruiting back of house staff when required by the F&B Manager. Works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure weekly product orders are made and received. Potential summer position available.
  • Cook: Prepares, cooks, serves food according to menu requirements and proper and safe food handling procedures.
  • Warehouse Supervisor: Responsible for managing all Food and Beverage inventory as it is received into the warehouse and transferred to various outlets. Responsible for safe storage and handling of food inventory. Supervises two warehouse clerk employees and reports directly to the Food and Beverage manager. Works closely with the Kitchen Supervisor to ensure that necessary products are being ordered.
  • Warehouse Clerk: Responsible for managing all Food and Beverage inventory as it is received into the warehouse and transferred to various outlets.

  • Guest Services Agent: Responsible for selling lift tickets, ski school tickets, rental tickets, and season passes using RTP. Answers guests’ questions and connects them to the best product and services while supporting Marketing and Sales efforts and initiatives.
  • Ambassador: The Ambassador is the front line Guest Services representative. Assist guests in all aspects throughout various locations of the resort. Lift Operations

  • Lift Operator: Operate the chair lifts and aid guests at the bottom and top of lifts. Grooms ramps, sets up/breaks down lift mazes, and performs opening and closing procedures. Scans passes and tickets.

Parking & Transportation

  • Parking Attendant: Responsible for set up of parking lot equipment and signage, and directing guests to appropriate safe parking locations. Maintains a clean and hazard parking lot.
  • Driver – Shuttle Van: Responsible for the transportation of passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule requiring a commercial driver license. Maintains a clean and hazard free vehicle. Must have a valid Driver License and a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by Homewood’s insurance carrier.
  • Driver – Shuttle Bus: Responsible for the transportation of passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule requiring a commercial driver license. Maintains a clean and hazard free vehicle. Must have a valid Class B Driver License with a passenger endorsement and a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by Homewood’s insurance carrier.

Patrol

  • Patroller: Responsible for the overall safety of the ski area including aiding and assisting skiing/snowboarding guests, and to provide first aid and emergency transportation to injured skiers/snowboarders from the slopes, day lodge, or immediate vicinity to the on-site first aid station. The Patroller is educates the guests and employees about ski and snowboard safety awareness and control, and maintains proper safety equipment and signage at the ski area and facilities correction of safety problems.
  • Dispatcher: The Dispatcher is the center for communication through the entire resort. This position also includes some office and clerical duties for mountain operations.

Rental Shop

  • Rental Shop Technician: Responsible for the fitting and maintenance of rental equipment (boots, poles, skis, and snowboards).

Retail Shop

  • Retail Sales Associate: Obtains and receives merchandise, total bill, accepts payment, and makes change for guests in the Retail Shop.

Ski & Snowboard School and Teams

  • Snowcat Tour Guide: Lead groups and individuals on Homewood Snowcat Adventures backcountry skiing tours with a focus on safety, fun, and adventure. Leads tours on mountain safety practices and develops an appreciation and affinity for the mountain/winter environment. Utilizes PSIA (or other recognized guiding certification body), customer service, and group handling methods to guide in backcountry terrain. Supports Snowsports and Patrol department when not actively guiding Homewood Snowcat Adventures. Must have expert skiing ability, Avalanche L1 Certificate, and PSIA Instructor Certificate or equivalent for corresponding instruction level. Prior ski resort or hospitality experience desirable. Some training will be provided.
  • Ski/Snowboard Instructor: Teach groups and individuals how to ski/snowboard and ride lifts with a focus on safety, fun, and education. Utilizes PSIA techniques and recognized teaching and training methods to explain new concepts and the physical requirements of the sport. Instructs students on mountain safety codes and practices as well as developing an appreciation and affinity for the mountain/winter environment. Positions available for certified and non-certified. If applying for a certified position, you must have a current certification for the level you are applying for.
  • Teaching Assistant: Aid Instructors in lessons and assists in other areas of the Ski &Snowboard School department.
