Homewood Mountain Resort will host a St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 17, featuring all of the below:
- Experience Homewood's legendary Lake Tahoe views and/or untracked powder stashes!
- Limited-edition "I Shamrock Homewood" T-shirts for sale!
- Pot o' Gold scavenger hunt!
- Green beer and Green Bull cocktails!
- Corned Beef & Cabbage!
- Leprechauns?
One lucky guest will find Homewood’s “Pot O’ Gold.” Hidden on the slopes of Homewood and ready to be found during the day, the Homewood Pot O’ Gold will contain treasures such as a lift ticket 3-pack, a 2012/2013 season pass, and a West Shore Café & Inn gift card. Guests will receive hints as to the Pot O’ Gold’s whereabouts on the Homewood Facebook page on or before St. Patrick’s Day.
In the spirit of true St. Patrick’s Day revelry, Homewood’s full bar will feature a bevy of green libations to please any guest’s inner-leprechaun, including green beer, Green Bull cocktails (a.k.a. Red Bull mixed drinks), and many others.
No St. Patrick’s Day would be complete without corned beef and cabbage, and Homewood’s South Lodge will offer the celebrated special from noon into the evening.
Commemorative "I shamrock Homewood" T-shirts will be available as well. (See the event image for an example.) T-shirts will be sold for $10 to Homewood season pass holders and $15 to the general public.
