Learn to Ski Saturday

Saturday, November 30, 2013 - 10:00am to 4:00pm

Snow meets the streets of Sacramento Downtown Plaza at Homewood's first Learn to Ski Saturday on November 30th.  Children ages 4-12 will be able to take a free on-snow ski lesson from Homewood's certified ski instructors!

Real snow is being trucked in to give kids an authentic on-snow learning experience.  Skis and boots will be provided. Kids simply need to get in line while parents sign lesson liability forms.  Homewood's Rental Manager will fit children in the correctly sized boots and skis. Lessons will run for approximately 15 minutes and will give youngsters a solid taste of what its like to be in skis and sliding down a small snow slope.

Homewood is the best place in Lake Tahoe to learn to ski and ride and SnowSlide Fest hallmarks Homewood's Children's Ski School which has both private and group ski lessons.  Children's Ski School also offers a kid's SuperSliders Program, which is a season-long coaching program for children ages 4 - 12.

The event will be at the intersection of K Street and 7th Street entrance to the mall (in front of 24 Hour Fitness).  A DJ will play music, Homewood will sell passes and retail, and Burton will be there to promote Homewood's Learn to Ride program.
