Homewood’s Adult Group Lessons cater to guests ages 13 and older. Whether you are brand new to winter sports or want to improve your technical skills and confidence on our uncrowded slopes, our instructors are eager to help you reach the next level.
Our top-to-bottom beginner trails allow skiers and riders who have mastered the basics to enjoy the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the peak.
Arriving for your lesson
Step 1: Arrival and Parking – All Adult Lessons must have their lift ticket and go through the process of picking up their ski or snowboard rentals prior to checking in for their lessons. Please arrive at Homewood no later than 30 minutes before the lesson start time for mid-weekdays and at least 1 hour to 1.5 hours prior on weekends and holidays.
All lessons will meet at Homewood’s North Base (located at 5145 West Lake Blvd.). Homewood offers convenient parking right at the base of the North Lodge. Note that parking reservations are required and can be made online before your visit.
Step 2: Pick Up Your Lift Ticket – After you’ve parked head over to our North Lodge. Pick up your lift ticket at one of the self-serving kiosks.
Step 3: Pick Up Your Rentals – Follow the signs to the rentals entrance.
Step 4: Check-in for your lesson – After picking up your lift ticket and rentals all lesson participants should check in at the Ski & Snowboard School building (Little Red School House) behind the North Lodge 10 minutes prior to the lesson start time.
We recommend coming prepared with warm, waterproof pants and a jacket, mittens or gloves, one pair of warm socks, and either sunglasses or goggles.
