Event Update Monday, October 18:
We cannot be more excited to wake up this morning to several inches of new snow on the ground! As we look at the upcoming forecast the weather continues to turn towards winter with precipitation expected every day over the next 10 days. This forecast comes with mixed emotions since this upcoming weather pattern has significantly altered our Halloweekend event activities.
Our Scenic Chairlift, Haunted Chairlift, kids games, and live music have been canceled this weekend. We are disappointed we cannot offer you our planned outdoor activities, however our Haunted House will be open throughout the weekend with extended hours. Join us from 5 to 7pm each night for an all-ages friendly Haunted House. Looking for something a bit spookier? Stop by from 7 to 9pm for a Haunted House experience for those ages 9 and older.
Haunted House tickets are now available and can be purchased online. The Haunting at West Shore Café on Thursday evening is still accepting reservations which can be made online. If you prepurchased tickets for the Scenic Chairlift or Haunted Chairlift your ticket will automatically be updated to allow two walkthroughs of the Haunted House. Haunted House: Join us from 5 to 7pm each night for an all-ages friendly Haunted House. Looking for something a bit spookier? Stop by from 7 to 9pm for a Haunted House experience for those ages 9 and older.
Treats (Food and Beverage): Fall treats will be available Friday through Sunday from 5pm to 8pm and will include caramel apples, popcorn balls and other small snacks.
The Haunting at the West Shore Cafe: Start Halloweekend off with The Haunting at West Shore Café on Thursday, October 21 at 6pm. This Halloween dinner experience won’t be for the faint of heart. Guests will first gain VIP access to Homewood’s Haunted House before they are served a spooky supper prepared by the West Shore Cafe team. Expect killer cocktails, swamp juice, treacle tarts, bat wings, cauldrons of eyeballs and finger foods, view the full menu here. Dinner will be seated at 7:30pm and is $125 plus tax and gratuity. HALLOWEEKEND: Strobe lighting, fog effects, areas of low lighting, loud music and sound effects, are used throughout the resort during Halloweekend. This includes inside the haunted house and both indoor and outdoor areas. Those with a history of seizures or epilepsy, respiratory sensitivities, heart conditions, women who are pregnant, or people who have sensitivities to, loud music and sound effects are advised not to participate in the Halloweekend activities.
HAUNTED HOUSE All ages are welcome to the Haunted House between 5pm and 7pm nightly. Children younger than 9 are advised to proceed with caution and must be accompanied by an adult. From 7pm to 9pm all guests who choose to enter the Haunted House must be at least 9 years of age or older. Ages 9 to 12 are advised to proceed with caution, as some of the scenes are frightening.
