HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT TO OFFER FREE SKIING AND BREAKFAST TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS

The Resort will begin accepting reservations for first 200 healthcare industry employees on February 22

HOMEWOOD, Calif. (Feb. 16, 2021) – Over the past year, healthcare workers have made an indelible impact on communities around the country. To honor their unwavering commitment and offer thanks, Homewood Mountain Resort is giving away lift tickets, access to the mountain an hour before the general public and complimentary breakfast to 200 healthcare workers on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

“We can never repay the hard work and sacrifices our healthcare workers have made–especially over the past year,” said Kevin Mitchell, Homewood Mountain Resort general manager. “As a small token of our gratitude, we’re offering a free day of skiing and breakfast to 200 healthcare workers who want to take a break and spend time outside in the mountains.”

Healthcare workers interested in participating are invited to sign up online beginning February 22 at 10:00 a.m. The first 200 people who register and provide proof of employment related to the healthcare industry will be eligible to receive one complimentary lift ticket, early access to the mountain, and a hosted breakfast on February 28. Complete rules and registration details can be found online at https://www.skihomewood.com/event/first-tracks-breakfast-for-health-care-workers/.

Located on Lake Tahoe’s west shore, Homewood has received 112” to 188” at its base and summit so far this season. With snow depths ranging from 95” to 148”, the resort is open daily with eight lifts and 67 trails.
