Season Passes

2020/21 Homewood Mountain Resort Season Passes

September 8, 2020, 6:50pm:

We are nearing our season pass sales cap and have a limited number of passes left to sell. Once the limited number of passes are sold, season passes will no longer be available for purchase^.

As outlined during our season pass launch in May, and as part of our operational plan to prioritize guest and employee health and safety, we have committed to a 25% reduction in our season pass sales this season. With this planned reduction of season pass sales, we are also committed to providing our signature pass perk – no blackouts and no restrictions. At this time, we are not planning on requiring passholder reservations and all Homewood Passholders will enjoy unlimited skiing and riding during the 20/21 season.

^The final portion of Homewood’s season pass sales does not include a discount for Loyalty passholders. 2019/20 returning passholders are still eligible for a resort credit if they are able to purchase a pass before October 31, 2020.

Our response to COVID-19

In consideration of our new internal COVID-19 Safety Aware program that continues to prioritize guest and employee health and safety, our team is already working on operating plans that will allow us to ensure social distancing on the mountain. In addition, we believe that even after businesses start to reopen, responsible actions will include the continuation of social distancing measures.

Homewood has always been known for its smaller crowds – and smaller crowds will now become part of our 2020/21 guarantee. As part of our health and safety operation plan, we will limit our 2020/21 season pass sales and will cap our daily skier visits, with a planned visit reduction of 25% during peak/holiday periods. This will reduce crowding, allow us to better accommodate social distancing, and offer a responsible, high-quality experience for our guests and employees.

Limited pass sales

All 2020/21 Season Pass sales will be limited and sold on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are a returning 2019/20 season passholder, we guarantee that if you buy your season pass before July 6, 2020, you will receive a 2020/21 season pass. After that date we cannot guarantee a 2020/21 pass will be available for purchase.

We will provide updates as we get close to sell out.

2020/21 Passholder Guarantee

We want you to feel confident with your season pass purchase and have added a new 2020/21 Passholder Guarantee. In the case Homewood Mountain Resort is forced to close before March 1, 2021 due to a non-weather-related event including disease, war, terrorism, natural disaster or  government-mandated shutdown season passholders will receive a pro-rated refund.

Refunds will be based on days the resort was open during the 2020/21 season.

ELLIS CHAIRLIFT TO BE REFURBISHED

We are excited to share news that the Ellis chairlift is being refurbished and will be operational next winter. The first phase of the project will begin this summer as soon as weather and snow conditions permit. Once complete, the revamped fixed-grip triple chair will decrease ride time by approximately 28% (nearly four minutes).

The two-phase project to modernize the 40-year-old chair will result in 90% of the chairlift being replaced upon completion. The process begins with the replacement of new tower assemblies; and to align with our environmental stewardship efforts, lift tower footings and components will be repurposed. Phase two will be completed in summer of 2021 and includes replacement of the drive terminal, haul rope and the addition of new chairs with safety bars.
