mountain OpERATIONS

Lift Maintenance Manager

The Lift Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining and repairing surface and aerial lifts for Homewood Mountain Resort, including changing sheaves, maintaining lift motors, replacing tower assemblies, and welding and fabricating parts as required while following the manufacture, qualified engineer, insurance company, and HMR procedures in compliance with the ANSI B77. Responsible for maintenance and repair of all lifts, shoveling lift ramps on heavy snow days and clear snow off lift parts, including bull wheels, tower tubes, etc., Maintains records on maintenance performed. Responsible for keeping tools and shop clean and orderly. Assists with maintaining of vehicles used in performing the job, including snowmobiles and sprites. The Lift Maintenance Manager will lead a team of Lift Mechanics and is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the Lift Maintenance department. The Lift Maintenance Manager is actively involved in professional development and the Homewood Leadership Team and its initiatives. Mountain Operations Director

The Director of Mountain Operations provides leadership, management, and direction for all summer and winter Mountain Operations at Homewood Mountain Resort. The Director of Mountain Operations will support the management teams of Homewood High & Dry Marina and West Shore Café & Inn when applicable. The Director of Mountain Operations will report to the General Manager and work alongside the Senior Management and Leadership Teams in developing and executing company and resort wide initiatives. This role is directly responsible to ensure the overall success of The Resort associated with the following; accountability for executing daily mountain operations, future and strategic planning, reporting of operations, employee hiring and performance, staff development, financial results which include expense and labor management in accordance with budget requirements, and compliance with all governmental regulations ensuring that safety is paramount across our resort’s year-round operations for both staff and guests. Facilities Technician

The Facilities Technician maintains cleanliness and general maintenance at all three properties; Homewood Mountain Resort, West Shore Cafe & Inn, Homewood High and Dry Marina, and Employee Housing. This job includes but is not limited to, custodial duties including emptying trash containers, snow removal, stocking supplies, and maintaining general cleanliness and upkeep of lodges, restrooms, and other facilities. Implementation of minor building repairs (interior and exterior), landscaping, water systems, general maintenance of three sister properties, employee housing, and associated facilities as needed. Class C Driver’s License required, and Class B CDL highly desirable.

Vehicle Mechanic

The Vehicle Mechanic maintains and repairs all Homewood vehicles including trucks, loaders, snowmobiles, ATV’s, buses, shuttles, and grooming machines.

One year or more ski resort mechanic experience desired, welding experience desired, and commercial driver’s license a plus. Class C driver’s license required and desired mechanic with tools.

Food & beverage

Busser

The Busser will be responsible for supporting the serving staff, ensuring prompt service and overseeing dining room cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction. Duties include but not limited to:

· Supports the restaurant team by clearing tableware, napkins and refuse from tables.

· Ensure restaurant cleanliness and monitor restaurant activity.

· Collaborate with team members to communicate any special needs or guest requests.

Food Expeditor

The Food Expediter is responsible for working with the BOH to assure prompt delivery of the food that is ready for the restaurant guests. The food expediter may be responsible for bringing any additional items the guests need to complete their meals, and is responsible for food running duties, and coordinating food running duties to available FOH staff as necessary.Duties include the following but not limited to:

· Check each plate of food to be correct as ordered.

· Make sure all condiments and any additional items needed are accompanying each order.

· Assures that every item on the order is ready and on the tray together.

· Works diligently to avoid breakage and loss.

· Notifies server of guest needs.

Food Runner

Our restaurant is looking for a motivated Food Runner to support our staff and improve the dining experience for our customers. The successful applicant will be expected to relay important information between management, kitchen staff and servers (BOH), as well as customers and servers (FOH). During our busy hours, we expect the food runner to assist servers and food expediters, performing any tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality customer experience. Not only will the ideal candidate have great communication skills, but also will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Experience isn’t required, but a willingness to learn is.

Host/Hostess

Host/Hostess will monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimates wait times for guests, and monitor guests waiting list. Greets and seats guests and presents menus to guests. Responsible for answering telephones and booking reservations. May assist with other Front Desk duties as needed.

HOMEWOOD HIGH & DRY MARINA

Dockhand

Responsible for the safe mooring of boats and general operations of the docks by facilitating and assisting in coordinating the arrival and departure of boats, maintaining a safe and clean environment and acting as the initial liaison between customers and the marina management team. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, great communication skills, have the ability to swim and will have well-rounded customer service skills.

Driver; Boat Hauler & Forklift Operator

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a forklift operator. We utilize rack storage and launch/store customer boats into the water with marine grade forklifts. We also haul boats on trailers by truck to our offsite storage facility. The applicant must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a marine mechanic. We store, winterize, and activate all boat types. We offer 50 & 100-hour mechanical services, water pump replacement, impeller repairs, and general tune-ups.
