HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT
BASE AREA OpERATIONS
The Dial-A-Ride Driver is responsible for the transportation of passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule and daily customer requests. Use of company cell phone, radio, and excellent customer service a must. Ability to autonomously manage daily scheduling for pick up and drop of Dial-A-Ride guests. Maintains a welcoming, clean and hazard free vehicle, assists shuttle drivers and Parking and Transportation department as needed. Must have Valid Driver’s License and meet minimum requirements of company’s driving insurance policy.
The Transportation/Parking Manager oversees the Bus and Dial a Ride Operations as well as all Parking department duties. This person is Responsible the safe transportation of all HMR guests and employees, as well all required record-keeping, documentation, hiring and training of CDL and Non-CDL drivers. Responsible for hiring and training competent parking staff. Keeps documentation and records in accordance to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Department of Transportation and California Highway Patrol requirements. Communicates effectively with all departments including the Director of Base Operations via phone, text, email and verbally. Snow removal as required. A minimum Class B Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement is required for this position.
Responsible for set up of parking lot equipment and signage. Directs guests to appropriate safe parking locations, and maintains a clean and hazard free parking lot by regularly assisting with snow and trash removal.
Snow Removal Equipment Operator
Homewood Mountain Resort is seeking a snow removal operator. The operator will be responsible for removing snow from parking lot areas and roads by operating loader. Must possess valid driver’s license and have prior heavy equipment operating experience.
Transportation Shuttle Driver
Responsible for the transportation of passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule requiring a commercial driver license. Maintains a clean and hazard free vehicle. Requires a valid CDL Class B Driver License with a passenger endorsement and a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by Homewood’s insurance carrier. Full Time availability desired. $20/hr.
Food & Beverage
The Cashier is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. Maintains clean food and beverage areas in FOH and BOH; busing and sanitizing tables, chairs, counter tops and other areas as assigned. Sweeps, mops, and vacuums F&B floors as needed. Assists with janitorial services in restrooms as needed. Starts at $12/hr.
Prepare hot and cold foods for guests; grilling, frying, prep work, janitorial/cleaning, and other kitchen duties as assigned.
Part-time (3-4 hours per day, 3-4 days per week)
Responsible for balancing the safe, making deposits, verifying funds, and reconciling the ATM. Cash handling and MS Excel experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older and have references.
The Staff Accountant will work with the finance and business solutions team and will assist with financial accounting for a portion of the limited liability companies that make up Homewood Village Resorts. As projects arise, there might also be a need to conduct basic to complex financial modeling, support asset management efforts, perform economic and market research, and assist with project management tasks. Guest Services Agent
Responsible for selling lift tickets, ski school tickets, rental tickets, and season passes using RTP. Answers guests’ questions and connects them to the best product and services while supporting Marketing and Sales efforts and initiatives.
Mountain Ambassadors are responsible for making first contact with our ski resort’s incoming guests and are ready to provide a high level of customer services at anytime. This position requires the individual to be knowledgeable about the layout of the mountain and structure of ski programs, in order to best direct guests to their next locations. Regular duties consist of directing, informing and conversing with our resort’s guests throughout the day. This is a seasonal, part-time position.
Completes transactions for all varieties and combinations of lift tickets/vouchers, and ski and snowboard rental products. Answers guest’s questions and connects them to the best product and services while supporting HMR Marketing and Sales efforts and initiatives.
The groomer is responsible for all winter grooming operations and maintaining Homewood’s slopes, ramps, and maze areas. Must have at least 1 winter season minimum prior grooming / snow cat machine operation experience.
Responsible for maintaining and repairing surface and aerial lifts for Homewood Mountain Resort, including changing sheaves, maintaining lift motors, replacing tower assemblies, and welding and fabricating parts as required while following the manufacture, qualified engineer, insurance company, and HMR procedures in compliance with the ANSI B77. Responsible for maintenance and repair of all lifts, shoveling lift ramps on heavy snow days and clear snow off lift parts, including bull wheels, tower tubes, etc., Maintains records on maintenance performed. Responsible for keeping tools and shop clean and orderly. Assists with maintaining of vehicles used in performing the job, including snowmobiles and sprites. Prior winter season experience required for employment.
The Lift Operator is responsible for the operation of chair lifts, welcoming, and often assisting guests at the bottom and top of lifts. Performs opening and closing procedures, and sets up lift mazes and grooms ramps. Full-time and part-time hours available. Must be able to commit to weekends, monetary incentive program available to Lift Operation employees that successfully meet specified requirements and work through the end of the season (exact date TBD ~ April 2019).*

Retail & Rental Techs
The Rental and Retail Technician is responsible for assisting guests with superior customer service and will work in both the Retail and Rental Shops. This team member will regularly be required to assist guests with proper boot fitting, ski/snowboard fittings, and proper adjustments. Thorough knowledge rental equipment, knowledge of demo fleet, and maintenance of all rental equipment will be expected. The Rental and Retail Tech will also have thorough knowledge of all retail products, ability to up-sell and match products to clients in a courteous and efficient manner.
Development Teams Head Coach
The Development Teams Head Coach works as the coaching leader of the Homewood Teams program: teaching athletes, communicating with parents, organizing Teams events, and generally providing for a strong vision for an inspiring and growing community Snowsports development program. Ski School Coordinator
The Ski & Snowboard School Coordinator will assist in overseeing the daily operation of ski school with a focus on quality control, performance development, financial responsibility, communication, teamwork, and administrative duties. Assists ski/snowboard instructors, and reports to Ski/Snowboard Manager.
Responsible for teaching groups and individuals how to ski/snowboard through demonstration and explanation with on on-snow instruction utilizing PSIA techniques, and recognized teaching methods.
WEST SHORE CAFE & INN
Banquet Sous Chef
$22/hr and medical/dental/vision.
The Banquet Sous Chef in coordination with the Executive Chef is responsible for the execution of all Banquet / Events for West
Shore Café and Homewood Resort as well as the managing of back of house staff during certain a la carte services. The
Banquet Sous Chef functions as a liaison between the frontline kitchen staff, the Executive Chef and the front of house
management team. They will attend all BEO meetings and be responsible to have a full understanding of all information provided
at these meetings.
Overnight Front Desk Agent
$16/hr, part time, year round opportunity.
Overnight Front Desk Agents oversee the safety and security of guests throughout the evening hours, and performs a variety of Front Desk responsibilities as needed. Must be able to work 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
HOMEWOOD HIGH & DRY MARINA
Homewood High & Dry Marina is a full service marina located on Tahoe’s west shore. We offer a Harbor, Launching, Storage, Buoys, Fuel, Service, Rentals, and Sales to our customers.
We are looking for dynamic individual to join our team as a marine mechanic. We winterize and activate all boats that we store. In addition to 50 & 100-hour services we offer many services from water pump replacement to tune-ups. The applicant must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well.
