WEST SHORE CAFE & INN

Food & Beverage Director

The Food and Beverage Director is responsible for ensuring the profitability and success of daily operations of Homewood and West Shore Café’s Food and Beverage team and all Food and Beverage facilities across the resort. The F&B Director is responsible for F&B guest service, maintaining high food quality, and providing timely and consistent food service to our guests. Coordinates food service activities, menu planning, staffing, controls labor, special events, health and safety issues, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control. Controls costs and profits while setting a high quality food and beverage service experience and standards. Identifies and oversees all Cap-Ex needs for the resort. Works closely with the entire F&B team to ensure smooth, effective and efficient operations of the F&B department.

Servers

Servers will manage their own section of tables in our Dining Room and provide guests with friendly, attentive and professional service. In addition to waiting on guests, Servers will have a variety of other responsibilities as assigned.

Bussers

Bussers will create exceptional dining, service and hospitality experiences for our guests by assisting the wait staff in serving guests in the West Shore Dining Room. Responsible for supporting the serving staff, ensuring prompt service and overseeing dining room cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.

Host/Hostess

Host/Hostess will monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimates wait times for guests, and monitor guests waiting list. Greets and seats guests and presents menus to guests. Responsible for answering telephones and booking reservations. May assist with other Front Desk duties as needed.

Dishwasher

Dishwashers are responsible for the daily cleaning, clearing, and sanitation of dishes for the West Shore Cafe Restaurant. Dishwashers also perform a variety of kitchen cleaning, closing, and opening duties assigned as necessary.

Line Cooks

Line Cooks are responsible for the day to day production and preparation of all food items hot and cold. Cooks will also maintain a clean work environment and minimize food waste. AM and PM shifts available.

LODGING

Front Desk Agent

The Front Desk Agent is expected to provide all guests with excellent and efficient customer service. A front desk agent must be able to communicate professionally, both verbally and written. Agents must have time management skills to complete daily checklist as well as communicating with housekeeping for arrivals, stay over service, and departure services. As a small boutique property all team members will wear many hats, and will be expected to be a team player assisting with restaurant reservations and hosting as business levels dictate. Problem resolution may be required to assist in resolving any potential guest concerns.

Lodging Manager

The Lodging Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and flow of the lodging department and all systems included. They will be responsible for overseeing and for ensuring all standards are being met by both the front desk and housekeeping staff. They will be responsible for all lodging admin work including development of new rate strategies and new packages, up selling of the property, maintaining OTA booking channel inventory, maintaining wedding/event blocks, reporting, budget tracking and management, inventory management, and forward progression and development.

Overnight Lodge Agent

Oversees the safety and security of guests throughout the night and early morning hours. Performs a variety of Front Desk responsibilities daily. Must be able to work 3-5 days per week, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. This is a full-time year round position.

Room Attendant

West Shore Cafe & Inn Room Attendants work as a team to uphold a positive and clean image to the guests of our restaurant and boutique lodge. Responsibilities include public areas of the West Shore Cafe & Inn, restrooms, internal office space, as well as preparing guestrooms for our daily arrivals. The lodge may have as many as two guestrooms, four suites, and two villas to prepare for new guests arriving. In the process of preparing rooms the attendant is  expected to remove and replace all linens and trash, discarding them to the appropriate bins. In the process of replacing linens an attendant may need to move or lift furniture weighing over 20 lbs. Proper and safe use of chemicals and protective equipment while cleaning public areas and guestrooms is an essential job function. Room attendants are expected to report any maintenance concerns in guestrooms in order to uphold our property’s guestroom standards.

Events

Event Administrative Assistant

The admin assistant will work closely with the Sales and Operations Teams to ensure proper admin support is being given in all areas. They will have an in-depth knowledge of all operating systems and will be responsible for maintaining the event checklist for all clients and properly cataloging information. Event Sales Associate

The Events Sales Associate will be responsible for the maintenance and flow of the sales department and all systems included as well as be responsible for the planning and execution of event driven marketing initiatives, which influence the daily summer and winter programming on-resort. They will be responsible for overseeing the sales inquiries for all properties and for ensuring all standards are being met by providing accurate and accountable information to potential clients, including spearheading the planning and execution of in house on-resort events, 3rd party events, music bookings, and other resort campaigns. HOMEWOOD HIGH & DRY MARINA

Dock Hand

Responsible for the safe mooring of boats and general operations of the docks by facilitating and assisting in coordinating the arrival and departure of boats, maintaining a safe and clean environment and acting as the initial liaison between customers and the marina management team. Must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well.

Marina Mechanic

Homewood High & Dry Marina is a full service marina located on Tahoe’s west shore. We offer a Harbor, Launching, Storage, Buoys, Fuel, Service, Rentals, and Sales to our customers.

We are looking for dynamic individual to join our team as a marine mechanic. We winterize and activate all boats that we store. In addition to 50 & 100-hour services we offer many services from water pump replacement to tune-ups. The applicant must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well. Human Resources

Human Resources Assistant

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing employees, managers, and leadership team with HR essential needs. Inputs and maintains employee data, reviews required paperwork, issues uniforms, tracks measurement tools for HR, our culture, and Guest Services initiatives. Assists in various departments as needed and takes the lead at employee functions. Supports the HR department and General Manager.

LIFT MAINTENANCE

Lift Mechanic

Responsible for maintaining and repairing surface and aerial lifts for Homewood Mountain Resort, including changing sheaves, maintaining lift motors, replacing tower assemblies, and welding and fabricating parts as required while following the manufacture, qualified engineer, insurance company, and HMR procedures in compliance with the ANSI B77. Responsible for maintenance and repair of all lifts, shoveling lift ramps on heavy snow days and clear snow off lift parts, including bull wheels, tower tubes, etc., Maintains records on maintenance performed. Responsible for keeping tools and shop clean and orderly. Assists with maintaining of vehicles used in performing the job, including snowmobiles and sprites. Prior winter season experience required for employment.

Marketing Director
