WEST SHORE CAFE & INN

Create exceptional dining, service, and hospitality experiences for our guests by ensuring that all front of house employees are performing their jobs correctly and in accordance with all West Shore policies and standards. The Floor Supervisor will assist in the training of all front of house employees through use of the West Shore training system.
Servers will manage their own section of tables in our Dining Room and provide guests with friendly, attentive and professional service. In addition to waiting on guests, Servers will have a variety of other responsibilities as assigned.
The food expeditor is responsible for working with the BOH to assure prompt delivery of the food that is ready for the restaurant guests. The food expeditor may be responsible for bringing any additional items the guests need to complete their meals, and is responsible for food running duties, and coordinating food running duties to available FOH staff as necessary. Duties include the following but not limited to, checking each plate of food to be correct as ordered, making sure all condiments and any additional items needed are accompanying each order, assure that every item on the order is ready and on the tray together, work diligently to avoid breakage and loss, notifies server of guest needs.
Bussers will create exceptional dining, service and hospitality experiences for our guests by assisting the wait staff in serving guests in the West Shore Dining Room. Responsible for supporting the serving staff, ensuring prompt service and overseeing dining room cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.
Host/Hostess will monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimates wait times for guests, and monitor guests waiting list. Greets and seats guests and presents menus to guests. Responsible for answering telephones and booking reservations. May assist with other Front Desk duties as needed.

Dishwashers are responsible for the daily cleaning, clearing, and sanitation of dishes for the West Shore Cafe Restaurant. Dishwashers also perform a variety of kitchen cleaning, closing, and opening duties assigned as necessary.
Line Cooks are responsible for the day to day production and preparation of all food items hot and cold. Cooks will also maintain a clean work environment and minimize food waste. AM and PM shifts available.
Prep Chefs are responsible for the daily preparation of all food items, salads, dressings, and other various prepared food items. Prep Chefs will maintain a clean work environment and minimize food waste.
West Shore Cafe & Inn Housekeepers work as a team to uphold a positive and clean image to the guests of our restaurant and boutique lodge. Responsibilities include public areas of the West Shore Cafe & Inn, restrooms, internal office space, as well as preparing guestrooms for our daily arrivals. The lodge may have as many as two guestrooms, four suites, and two villas to prepare for new guests arriving. In the process of preparing rooms the attendant is expected to remove and replace all linens and trash, discarding them to the appropriate bins. In the process of replacing linens an attendant may need to move or lift furniture weighing over 20 lbs. Proper and safe use of chemicals and protective equipment while cleaning public areas and guestrooms is an essential job function. Housekeepers are expected to report any maintenance concerns in guestrooms in order to uphold our property’s guestroom standards.
Event Administrative Assistant
The admin assistant will work closely with the Sales and Operations Teams to ensure proper admin support is being given in all areas. They will have an in-depth knowledge of all operating systems and will be responsible for maintaining the event checklist for all clients and properly cataloging information. HOMEWOOD HIGH & DRY MARINA
Responsible for the safe mooring of boats and general operations of the docks by facilitating and assisting in coordinating the arrival and departure of boats, maintaining a safe and clean environment and acting as the initial liaison between customers and the marina management team. Must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well.
Homewood High & Dry Marina is a full service marina located on Tahoe’s west shore. We offer a Harbor, Launching, Storage, Buoys, Fuel, Service, Rentals, and Sales to our customers.
We are looking for dynamic individual to join our team as a marine mechanic. We winterize and activate all boats that we store. In addition to 50 & 100-hour services we offer many services from water pump replacement to tune-ups. The applicant must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well. Pay will be highly dependent on experience.
HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT
Responsible for maintaining and repairing surface and aerial lifts for Homewood Mountain Resort, including changing sheaves, maintaining lift motors, replacing tower assemblies, and welding and fabricating parts as required while following the manufacture, qualified engineer, insurance company, and HMR procedures in compliance with the ANSI B77. Responsible for maintenance and repair of all lifts, shoveling lift ramps on heavy snow days and clear snow off lift parts, including bull wheels, tower tubes, etc., Maintains records on maintenance performed. Responsible for keeping tools and shop clean and orderly. Assists with maintaining of vehicles used in performing the job, including snowmobiles and sprites. Prior winter season experience required for employment.
Helps provide a safe skiing and riding mountain resort environment by means of continuous education, visible resort presence and positive reinforcement. Patrollers offer quality patient care and injury management. Works cross-departmentally to communicate mountain conditions. Thoroughly understands National Ski Area Association’s “Your Responsibility Code”. Pay commensurate with experience level.
Other necessary skills include:
- Current California or National OEC & EMT Certificates
- Excellent ski and/or snowboard skills
